I come from a poor family. I lived in the projects growing up but I managed to stay away from drugs and gangs long enough to graduate with honors, join the army, and then receive a four year scholarship to attend a prestigious university. I found my wife and two hardworking,,dedicated, and smart children who make good grades and stay out of trouble which is everything I can ask from a 7 and 5 year old. I am in my fifth and final year at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and when I graduate, I will be an officer in the USArmy with a degree in Aerospace Studies. At least that was the plan. Lack of financial aid and employment has put me in a position where I may not finish school. Not only that, but the rent is due and I have no ide how I'm going to feed my children, keep the lights and water on, or keep shelter over their prescious little heads. If I don't find a scholarship or grant soon, it will all be over, and I'll end up back in the projects if we have home at all.
